William Kowalski is an award-winning novelist, screenwriter, and writing mentor. His work has been translated into fifteen languages, earning him a loyal international following. A former high school physics teacher, his first novel, Eddie's Bastard, was published by HarperCollins in 1999. It won South Africa's Ama-Boeke Award in 2001, was twice selected for Booksense 76, and appeared at #5 on the Times of London's best-seller list, among other honors. Three more novels--Somewhere South of Here (2001), The Adventures of Flash Jackson (2003), and The Good Neighbor (2004)--followed, all published by HarperCollins. A native of Erie, PA, William resides with his family in Nova Scotia.
